National Provincial Championship
Every year Korfball New Zealand hosts the National Provincial Championship involving representative teams from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.

Christchurch have an eight year head start on the rest of NZ and the NPC results have been showing it. But the gap is closing, and as Wellington and Auckland grow the base of players the tables will begin to turn.

Three times a year we play in the NPC, one in each centre. Before very long you could find yourself pulling on the black and yellow to represent Wellington!

National Squad
Since 2004 New Zealand has been competing at senior level in regular international competition. We're currently ranked about twenty in the world and sights are set on the World Championships in 2007.

But first up is the 2006 programme which includes a tournament in Taipei, the Asia Oceania Korfball Championships in Hong Kong and the first-ever Commonwealth Korfball Champs in London.

Wellington currently has five reps in the national squad of sixteen players.
